Biography  
Michele Dunn is an international consultant specializing in executive development, coaching and team facilitation. Her corporate clients include GE, Ford, ExxonMobil, Union Carbide, Pepsico, Merck, Time Warner, SCM, and the US Government. She has extensive experience in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, Central and South America. Michele has depth of experience in curriculum development, custom program design and instruction. Her design and instruction repertoire includes seminars on the cultural integration of Mergers and Acquisitions, strategic thinking, innovation, emotional intelligence, influence, negotiating, conflict management and leadership.

Michele’s current emphasis is on executive coaching to refine the approaches of high performing individuals. Michele works one on one with high level executives who are brilliant business people but who lack the interpersonal attractiveness necessary at the highest levels. She works with them to confront leadership flaws and coaches them through an improvement plan. Michele also works with leading executives to facilitate their group decision making and conflict resolutions. Her approach incorporates highly refined group process expertise, extensive global business experience and the strategic use of emotional intelligence to identify issues and manage the discussion process.

At GE, Michele is a “Master Instructor” with Crotonville’s executive education faculty since 1986. She was part of the original Work-Out and CAP (Change Acceleration Process) teams and an active leader in the dramatic cultural changes in GE under Jack Welch. She continues to be in the forefront at GE Crotonville, introducing new initiatives, designing and teaching in the Advanced Management Course, New Manager Development Course, Developing Business Leadership, and Introducing Experienced Leaders to GE courses. In addition, she has conducted customized sessions for every GE business. Michele has a reputation for high energy and creativity.

Before launching her own consulting business, Michele had a successful career as a manager in large global corporations. As a Program Manager of Advanced Training Programs at SCM, she was responsible for the design and implementation of marketing, finance and executive education programs and she was the Leadership Development Representative for the Organic Chemicals Division and Corporate Marketing and Financial Advisory Committees. At Time Magazine, Michele was Subscriber Billing Manager, responsible for direct marketing, collection agency management and financial performance. At Time, she was also Cataloguing Manager in Time’s legendary Photography Library, responsible for a staff that researched and distributed new and historical photographs to Time Warner publications and other media customers.

Michele has an MBA in Marketing from Pace University, NYC a BA in Political Science and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany, and an AA from Marymount College, Arlington, Virginia. Michele is now a widow and lives with her four grown children in Wilton, Connecticut, USA.
